Late night upsets

Nothing like late night upset tummy's to keep you awake. Atleast its saturday, and my first 3 day weekend on my new 4 10s schedule.

Billie is sound asleep, although she will probably wake soon for food. Kaylee is sleeping too, she will probably be up by 8a. **sigh**

Another Week Gone By

Made it to another weekend.

Billie has been calming down some. Its nice. She will now sit with you and look around without screaming.
Kaylee has continued to want to watch Harry Potter. She even took the first movie to Nana's to watch with grandma. Of course the first time she took it over the Dvd wasn't in the case. Kaylee was heartbroken.

I upgraded my BlackBerry last night. It wasn't flawless as the backup didn't work. Then it wouldn't connect to desktop manager for a restore. I thought I was out all my personal stuff on the BB. In the end I installed Desktop Manager again and it restored.

K seemed to like the first Harry Potter movie, so when she asked to watch Harry Potter #2, it seemed like a good idea.

I forgot about the spiders, and how scary the snake looked. She didn't want to grab my pillow from the bedroom she was so scared at one point.

Yet by the end of the movie she was happy and said she loved it. Let's hope she's not going to have nightmares of giant snakes and spiders chasing her around.

Another Day

So much noise about banks, finance, and morgates. I am tired of it.

And gas gouging in florida, jeesh. We are not running low on gas, just money.

We have been watching Fringe. Its different and wierd, but I think we like it. Thanks to TiVo and amazon the hubby and I got to watch Knight Rider. I had to explain to the hubby it is not the old Knight Rider sevral times. I wonder if a lot of people ran into that.
New Heroes on Monday. I can't wait. And Wednesday I can see the new Chuck, also thanks to TiVo and Amazon.

Billie slept through the night last night. I hope she will again tonight. Kaylee was a little cranky and still had her runny nose. Here's hoping for a good night's rest.

Ways of the little ones

My husband loves what he calls kayleeisms. Cute yet meaningful things our 3 year old will say. His favorite is "I want to be a super hero, but I keep ending up a waitress."

Kaylee was a little under the weather these past few days. Nothing like a child, sick and still running around getting into trouble. She bumped her lip under a table at her favorite resturant, pretending to be a tiger. She told me she found 4 tigers under the table in sunny Florida.

And Billie, she seems to be learning to deal with life. She will be three months old at the end of the month. Its hard to believe its been that long. She is looking around and inspecting the world now.

2000 Tweets

Wow. When did I send all those tweets. 2000 is a lot of anything. Too bad its tweets instead of dollars. I must like twitter.

So, let me take a moment to talk about Twitter.

Like many people I use it to communicate with friends, near and far. I use it for information, from Blackberry news, just to plain old news. I get political information, is there anyone not following Obama regardless of which side you are on? I have seen road closures in Iowa due to hogs thanks to Twitter. I have kept up to date on recalls, including recent pet food and infant formula issues. I have heard about earthquakes, train accidents, and other events first via Twitter. I even received updates on Fay when it was here and Ike in Texas all on Twitter.

One thing is certain, Twitter can keep a girl busy.

Sunday Afternoon

Baby Billie is full. Time to figure out lunch for the rest of us, so needless to say I'm dawdling instead.

I survived another week with minimal sleep. :) Hopefully it will start getting better. Billie sometimes sleeps through the night.

I am so excited about the upcoming Tivo application for BlackBerrys. I can't wait to see what it can do. I discovered yesterday I can catch the upcoming new episode of Chuck and Knight Rider early courtsey of my Tivo and amazon unbox. I can't wait. I love downloading stuff on my Tivo over the web. Between amazon unbox and mp3 downloads I am gonna be broke. ;)

Friday Night After Fay

I had a friend from work come over to meet my family. It was fun. We played Wii.The only hiccup was the so called carpet cleaners showing up at 7:30pm.

I called the office because we had a leak during fay and the carpet was wet. The maintance guy told my hubby the carpet guys would be in around 7:30p as they were running late. Dunno why he thought they would be cleaning it.

In come the guys just as are about to start playing Mario Party. And they need to have the couch and entertainment center moved. They pulled up the wet padding under the carpet, sprayed some stuff to keep mold away, told the hubby they'd be back sometime next week and left. Me, Erin, and the girls hid in the bedroom while they did this.

Now our apt is even more of a mess, I can barely get in the computer room due to the stuff we moved out of the way.We did get to clean out under the couch and the hubby is talking about moving the entertainment center around to a different part of the room.

I should probably be glad that is the only damage we have from around 20 to 30 inches of rain over a few days.

At least all my bbs are safe and sound. Not to mention my family.

Late on a Holiday

Got in a lot of rest today. Nervous about work and the Dr tomorrow. I don't want to go back to the hospital. Its no fun.
Oh and I can't sleep. :)

Rough Week

When pregnant I should always worry when I have a day that I feel really good. This past week was no exception to the rule.

Monday was great, feeling good, got lots of work done. The day flew by. Tuesday I felt a little off in the morning - mind you I get up at 5am on Tuesdays - but I went about my business. Got to work and started to feel worse. Clamy, painful, and then I started throwing up, constantly. My doctor is near my home. And once I had to get sick at my desk in my trash can I knew I needed to get home.

Somehow I drove myself the 25 miles home without getting sick, at least until I got back to the apartment. I called the doctor's office and left a message for the nurse. Then I had to wait.

Waiting was probably the worst part. I was terrified I had done something wrong and the baby would be hurt or messed up. Of course this is every pregnant woman's fear. I just hit 33 weeks this past Friday. My mom was unreachable at church with my 3 year old and my husband was at work. It was tourture.

Finally about 30 minutes later the nurse calls, ask some questions and says she will call me back after talking to the Doctor. Not much later she tells me to report to labor and delivery at the emergency room.

Of course I'm paniced. Call the hubby and he leaves work to get me. At this point driving was not an option for me.

Basiclly I went from feeling great on Monday to dehydrated and in pain from a kidney infection/stones tuesday morning. I even started having contractions, but the baby is still snug in my tummy today.

I was in the hospital until Thursday. I was so happy to get out. Didn't start feeling better until late Friday.

Of course I have to take antibotics every 6 hours, which makes getting a good nights sleep hard.

Here's hoping the next time I go to Labor and Delivery I come home with a cute little girl. And of course it won't be for a few more weeks.

K is 3

So I am no longer the mom of a 2 year old. Kaylee is offically 3.

Sunday Morning

Its Sunday. Which is nice, but means work tomorrow.
I saw Ironman last night, which is good. Make sure u stay after the credits.
Got a pedicure yesterday too. Never had one before.
K has had a cough and cold, but it seems better today. Maybe she is past it.

I am very large now. 30 weeks, that leaves me about 10 weeks. We shall she if I get to a full 40 weeks this go round.

Tired

I am very tired today. Of course if I take a nap I probably won't be able to get to sleep tonight, which will continue the annoying tiredness. No naps.

I'm also hungry. But I spend a lot of time hungry, without knowing what I want to eat. Its annoying. I am good at what I don't want. If only I was equally good at knowing what I do want.

Goodbye March

Its hard to believe March 2008 is over and done. In May K will be 3. Hard to believe its been that long. Of course July can't get here soon enough. Being pregnant is hard work.

I my rims for my bug arrived today. It will probably be sat before I can get them installed. They are going to look awesome.

I got my Hello Kitty does the UK bag and wallet. And I got a new case for my BB. Only down side is the BB bag has no sleeper magnet.

I feel huge. Even the hubby commented on my large belly. I am starting to find normal things, like reaching my feet and the floor in general much harder. I'm also having some trouble sleeping, which is making me ill sometimes. I still have several months to go.

Such is life.

Crazy Toddler

My daughter has turned into some alien creature that still looks like her. The little angel most of the time has been a monster full of endless energy all day. Its like she got into my pixie stick stash, which she did not.

She took a tap sevral hours early today over the unbelivable massive fit she threw about taking a shower. I have never seen anything like it out of her.

She behaved perfectly for lunch, and then began to misbehave in BJ's.

Hubby took her out for running and walking and playing. Yet she is still going a million miles an hour.

On another note, I have ny bug dash now in my bug. Its awesome. Super easy to put in and hasn't moved at all.

My husband's bb is mostly back to normal, which makes us both happy.

Glad Monday is over

but then again, who isn't

Big problem today - we ran out of diapers.... yikes - time to re-order.

One day closer to the weekend

This is my rough week at work.

And now the tv won't turn on. :(

But the doctor gave me an ok. Next apt is in 4 weeks. Then it will be glucose testing time. Oh joy. Such fun tests you get while prego.

My belly is so big.

Nothing To Say

Just rambling. Being prego is making me unhappy with everything today.

Dunno why, just don't want to do anything. Nothing on tv is appealing, couldn't get interested in dinner. **sigh**
