Wii Pain

First, I love my Wii. Second, I am not in great shape. I know this for sure now.

I found myself sore today, my arms and shoulders the most and a little in my legs. It is from my Wii playing last night. Mostly from Wii Boxing I think. So tonight I am taking a Wii break. If I keep getting a workout from the Wii I will be in shape in no time.

Wii is almost here

Our Wii is waiting for us in the apartment office. Unfortunately my husband did not make it home before the office closed today.

My mom is coming to pick Kaylee up in the morning so I should be able to go and pick it up. By the time the office opens and I get back with it I will probably have enough time to hook it up before I have to go to work. **sigh**

Oh well, there is always this weekend. We are going to try and go to Disney and see Disney all decked out for the holidays. We will have to see how Kaylee feels. She has been a little under the weather these last few days.

I have lots of cool things to look forward too, aside from Kaylee learning to use the bathroom correctly. There is the World of Warcraft expansion coming soon, the BlackBerry 8800, maybe eve OS 4.2 for the 8700 - although by then I might have an 8800. Looks like 2007 is going to be a great year.

Another Day

Well, we are closer to the weekend. And closer to Christmas.

My Wii shows as shipped on the Amazon website and UPS updated to show a delivery date of the 18th. Seems like that is way too long. I am really hoping it gets here sooner, so we can play with it. It was supposed to be here last week.

Kaylee is growing as babies do. I need to get some pictures of her and post them on Flickr.

Rainy Evening

It rained today. Which was fine, only it waited until I went out to lunch with my co-worker, but without my umbrella.

Oh well.

Kaylee is getting bigger, and going through the mommy phase.

My BlackBerry got a case of the Christmas Spirit today and was randomly playing We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Turned out I left the web browser on that tune. Every time I would hang up from a phone call it would break out in Christmas cheer. Kinda creepy until I figured it out :)

Its off

The shuttle lifted off.

That was amazing. I was in Port Canaveral. It was as light as day. The reflection of the launch on the water was amazing.

You could see it for a very long time.

Shuttle liftoff try 2

So here we are waiting to see if the shuttle will go up tonight. First night launch in years.

Looking good so far. We might actually see a night launch.

Scurbbed Shuttle and Life

Well, there was no launch tonight. :(
Maybe Saturday night it will go up. I hope it goes up this weekend, otherwise I will miss it.

World Of Warcraft had another patch. Another round of where were my talent points. I do like the ability to auto loot and auto cast on self. Not sure about much else yet, but I am looking forward to the expansion.

I am very unhappy with Amazon this week. We tried out a digital picture frame from Amazon which did not work, so we returned it. I was impressed with how fast it came, not yet impressed with the return, as it has not posted back to the card we paid with. However, the real problem is not with this order.
We decided to get a Wii, and some bundles became available on amazon on Nov 30th. We ordered one, with a ship date of the 4th or 5th, to be here from the 7th - the 12th. It went into shipping soon status, the available was take out on my card. I get an email late last night saying something has changed. I check online and see the delivery date has changed to a week later. I can not cancel the order, and the only advice from Amazon was refuse the order when it arrives and you will not be billed for return shipping. That doesn't change the fact they have a hold on my funds. And I passed up getting one recently because I thought I would have mine this week. :( Bad Amazon. Not sure I will buy there again.

Kaylee is doing good. She is learning manners and starting to get her numbers. Not counting, but just the words. We have also started in on potty training. This lead to her running around the bathroom tonight with a t-shirt and socks on. She climbed into the bathtub and decided to do her business in there... all over her socks. I guess she saw the dog do this and figured she should too. **sigh** Clearly I have my work cut out for me.

Home from the airport

We just got back from the airport. We picked up mom-in-law, hubby's mom.
She brought a beautiful picture of Kaylee that was taken when we were in iowa.
